"NO LIMITS"

Once in a Lunch Talk Workshop, the Dean of the deputy of Hotel and Tourism Management emphasized that his dream to cover all the countries derived from the reading of a book < Jonathan Livingston Seagull > in his childhood. I was greatly impressed that the book, thin enough for you to finish on the MTR (subway of HK), can lead a man to cover up to 121 countries in his thirties.
Finally, I got this book in the library today, I am not that fast English reader, but 3 hours is enough for me to finish the reading. But this book is so good as to deserve rereading.
Jonathan Livingston Seagull, written by Richard Bach, is a fable in novella form about a seagull’s learning about life and flight, and a homily about self-perfection and self-sacrifice. First published in 1970 as “Jonathan Livingston Seagull — a story”, it became a favorite on American university campuses. By the end of 1972, over a million copies were in print, Reader’s Digest had published a condensed version, and the book reached the top of the New York Times bestseller list where it remained for 38 weeks. It is still in print as of 2006. (introduction from wikipedia)
I want to share with you some of the inspiring words:
We choose our next world through what we learn in this one. Learn nothing, and the world is the same as this one, all the same limitations and lead weights to overcome.
Are you bone and feather or a perfect idea of freedom and flight?
Don’t believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding, find out what you already know, and you’ll see the way to fly.
No limits.
I truly understood the meaning of challenging oneself and chasing dream.
I truly got the reason for devoting after learning. We can never pay back; the best way to pay back is to transfer to the next generation.
