A Tale of Two Cities

It's an old story yet give me a lot of thinking--
It tells me we may be doing right things wrongly
We may hurt the innocent when you are demanding the revenge
I was able to read different personalities from Charles Darnay and Sydney
Carton, who showed their love for the same lady, Lucie Manette.
It reveals me how great love can be and how peace a heart can be with love.
Both the novel's opening and closing are among the most famous lines in English literature, I will share with you here:
It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done;
it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.

"It was the best of times,
it was the worst of times;
it was the age of wisdom,
it was the age of foolishness;
it was the epoch of belief, (epoch: a period of time)
it was the epoch of incredulity; (incredulity:unwilling to admit)
it was the season of Light,
it was the season of Darkness;
it was the spring of hope,
it was the winter of despair;
we had everything before us,
we had nothing before us;
we were all going directly to Heaven,
we were all going the other way."
